While there are wedding bells ringing in the distance, there is a lot of work to do before you can rest easy on your happily ever after. One of the biggest stresses when putting together your wedding is finding your venue. Downtown Oshkosh is full of wedding venues to choose between that are located close to hotels and Airbnbs, salons, local bars & restaurants and great photo spots! To help aid in your research for the perfect venue, we have the full list with everything they offer, pricing and their contact information. Keep reading to learn all about each wedding venue option in Downtown Oshkosh.

The Howard

405 Washington Avenue | 920-479-1927

About the space: Offering several unique spaces, the Howard is a historic landmark that was originally designed in 1927. The Grand Ballroom is a great space for elegant weddings and seats 250 with a maximum capacity of 450. The Great Hall has space for 70 seated dinner guests and a maximum of 150 for a wedding ceremony or cocktail reception.

Pricing: During peak season which is May through December, the rental fee for a Ballroom Wedding is $4,000 Monday and Sunday and $4,500 on Saturday. A Great Hall Ceremony will be $1,000. During the non-peak season, which is January through April, the Ballroom is $3,000 Monday and Sunday and $3,500 on Sunday. The Great Hall is $750.

Amenities included: An on-site event manager for planning and detailing, banquet tables and chairs, house linens, white tablecloths, white napkins, china/glassware/silverware, cocktail tables with black house linens, callout/auxiliary tables and complimentary use of Great Hall for a ceremony rehearsal.

Venue 404

404 North Main Street | 920-573-2945

About the space: If you watched Public Enemies starring Johnny Depp, this venue might look a little familiar to you! This vintage 1926 bank has Neo-Classical architecture combined with elegant Gatsby Era decor. The reception space in the Grand Ballroom has a maximum seating space of 250.

Pricing: Ceremony rental is $975 for three hours of venue access. For two additional hours of mini cocktail reception service, the investment is $475.

Amenities included: Custom Uplighting Package, round or rectangle tables seating eight, floor-length linens, banquet chairs and covers, “The Vault” Cocktail Lounge & photo space, ‘The Bar @ Venue 404’ Vintage Cocktail Lounge, stage/riser for the head table or DJ, eight food covered tables, six covered food service and catering table, high-speed wi-fi, staff to help with guest needs/clean up and available refrigerators, beverage coolers, and food warmers.

Gibson Social Club

About the space: Currently under construction, the Gibson Social Club will be open to the public starting July 1st. The full space can accommodate up to 300 guests for a seated dinner and 500 individuals for any standing event. This venue has partnered with Beckets to run the available bars.

Pricing: The full space has a rental fee of $3,500.

Amenities included: Use of the main reception hall and main bar, coat check, catering kitchen, harvest tables and beaches – which seat up to 256 people, access to the downstairs lobby area – which has its own bar and getting ready lounge, access to the upstairs mezzanine area – which has its own bar and two getting ready lounges, a team to set up and take down all tables and benches, a team to transition the space from ceremony to reception and use of the on-site parking lot.

Copper Hall

About the space: Originally built in 1924, Copper Hall has a 585 square foot main hall, a full warming kitchen and a 400 square foot common area that connects everything. The capacity has a maximum of 49 individuals.

Pricing: The prices Monday through Thursday are $20 an hour and Friday through Sunday are $40 per hour.

Amenities included: Tables and chairs are included in the rental. There are some decorations and cleaning supplies to use as well. You can find the full lists for technology and supplies on their website.

Algoma Club

About the space: With over a century of history running through the building, the Algoma Club was once a gathering place for men in the International Order of Odd Fellows and there are rumors of having speakeasy connections. This venue has elaborate details that will leave a lasting impact such as its gasolier era chandelier, stained glass windows and wood floors. The Algoma Club Hall has a maximum occupancy of 240 and a maximum seating space of 150.

Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel and Convention Center

About the space: Offering almost everything you need from the hotel stay to the venue, the Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel and Convention Center have three great options for your wedding. The Athearn Ballroom can accommodate 200 at round tables and 250 at a long table. The Convention Center has two options – a Riverfront Window View and a Modern Interior Space. Ceremonies can be held on-site with the Riverside Patio and Riverside Lawn, which both overlook the Fox River, as options.

Pricing: There will be a $1,500 deposit when the contract is signed. The Riverfront Window View is $500 for the room rental on Friday and Sunday and $1,000 on Saturday. The Modern Interior Space is $250 on Friday and Sunday and $500 on Saturday. Food sale minimums for both spaces are $2,000 on Friday and Sunday and $4,000 on Saturday. The Athearn Ballroom is $250 on Friday and Saturday and $500 on Saturday. The minimum food sales are $2,000 on Friday and Saturday and $3,000 on Sunday. The event needs to be prepaid three business days in advance. Once the event is complete, a final invoice will be generated the following business day and a refund will be issued for the deposit.

Amenities included: Tables, chairs, head table stage, dance floor, in-house linen and

skirting, place settings, additional tables for gifts, cake, and photos, a microphone and access

to generic centerpiece vases.

Becket’s

About the space: Located right next to the Fox River, Becket’s restaurant has a waterfront atrium hall that seats up to 500 with a private riverside patio. There is the option for an outdoor or indoor ceremony site to help keep your day simple.

Pricing: To book your event, Becket’s requires a deposit of $500 which will go toward your final bill. Pricing for the room will be $10 per person with a minimum charge of 150 guests.

Amenities included: All setup and takedown, bars/bartenders, all auxiliary tables, china/flatware/glassware, chair covers and sashes, tables and chairs, cloth napkins and table linens.
