Three day original music festival in downtown Oshkosh featuring 23 music artists performing at seven venues. From solo acoustic sets and folk music to rock ‘n’ roll and dj sets, Racket Fest is a celebration of the local creative scene and downtown Oshkosh’s vibrant culture.
Nearly 100 musicians from throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota will converge in downtown Oshkosh beginning Thursday, February 14, 2019, filling the Main Street corridor with original music for three days and nights.
The Algoma Club is again the home site to this annual festival, featuring four bands both Friday and Saturday nights. Manila Resto will also be hosting performances both nights. Fletch’s Tap House on Main will be hosting the kick off celebration on Thursday, as well as a lunchtime set on Saturday.
New to 2019 is an expansion of host sites to include a new family-centered Listen & Learn session at the Oshkosh Public Library. The three free Saturday morning sessions will expose participants to a range of instruments and song-writing styles, and includes a session by Oshkosh favorites Danny and Michelle Jerabek from Copper Box.
Racket Fest is also partnering with the Oshkosh Farmers Market to feature festival musicians at the Menominee Nation Arena on Saturday as part of the winter indoor market.
Also new in 2019 is the inclusion of late night sessions, with Peabody’s hosting a Friday night DJ session and the Reptile Palace hosting Saturday night rock ‘n’ roll.

Tickets to the Algoma Club are $6/night or $10 for the weekend. All other shows are free.
A Racket Fest 2019 Compilation Album CD will be available featuring 14 original tracks from Racket Fest musicians. The CD is $7, or just $3 with a weekend pass.
