Description
The COVID pandemic has changed the look of this year’s historic art contest dedicated to the memory of Oshkosh sculptor, Helen Farnsworth Mears (1871-1916). Teachers and students faced challenges while art classes were taught virtually in some Oshkosh schools. All artwork, submitted digitally, included 2-dimension (drawing and painting) and 3-dimension (sculpture) and a new, third category, Digital Art. The traditional exhibit in the Oshkosh Public Library, Lower Level, will be replaced with a virtual exhibit on a large-screen TV. This continual-running show is open to the public from March 31-April 18 during library hours.
