Enjoy all Downtown Oshkosh has to offer the first Friday of each month from 5-9pm. Every First Friday we’ll list where you can find the coolest art galleries, shop late, see awesome live musicians, enjoy great cuisine and local beverages and partake in fun downtown experiences!
Explore downtown through art! Check out featured galleries, our Powered by History utility box project, over 20 mini murals and snap a photo in front of our downtown murals! Stay tuned – all of Aprils’s participating businesses will be announced soon!

April Poetry Walk
Explore downtown through poetry! Over 20 participating businesses will have poetry by local writers displayed in their windows. The Poetry Walk kicks off April 1st during our April First Friday, but you can see the poetry on display through April 30th!

Powered by History is a special project created by the Downtown Oshkosh Business Improvement District in collaboration with the Oshkosh Public MuseumOshkosh Public LibraryArt City Wraps and Visit Oshkosh. There are eleven electrical boxes throughout the downtown area covered in historical images from Oshkosh’s past. Learn more!

Mini Mural Project
Oshkosh’s first outdoor gallery can be viewed in Downtown Oshkosh! The Mini Mural Project features the work of 20 talented local artists on exterior walls throughout Downtown Oshkosh. Visit each art piece and be sure to tag us in your Mini Mural Adventures! Learn more!

Sushi Special – Kuneho Roll: Tempura carrots, lettuce, spring onion, fresh salmon and white tuna served on a bed of wasabi mayo and presented in the shape of a rabbit! (Did you know Kuneho means rabbit in tagalog?!)
Filipino Special – Tempura Bandeha: Tempura platter with tempura battered salmon, soft shell crab, shrimp, asparagus and calamari served with tempura sauce, side of rice and vegetables!

Each First Friday is a celebration of our local community and an opportunity for locals and tourists to show their support for our town, have fun, and enjoy the beauty of historic Downtown Oshkosh!
