Join us for the BID Tree Lighting Ceremony and Downtown Oshkosh Holiday Parade! From 5-6pm, enjoy live music on Opera House Sqaure and count down to the lighting of our holiday tree. The parade begins at 6:15pm at the intersection of Otter Ave. and N. Main Street.
We’re celebrating the timeless tales that warm our hearts and celebrate the spirit of the holidays!
Parade participants are invited to bring holiday stories to the streets – think A Christmas Carol, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, & The Night Before Christmas. Floats can interpret favorite themes, scenes, or characters from beloved books that have become a cherished part of the holiday season.
*IMPORTANT: Due to Main St. bridge construction- the parade route begins at the intersection of N. Main & Otter and heads north until the intersection of N. Main & Irving.
Note: to ensure the Holiday Parade remains a joyful, welcoming event for all members of our community, we kindly ask that float entries do not promote specific political or religious viewpoints. Thank you for helping us keep the parade festive and respectful for all!

Drop off your letters to Santa all holiday season in our mailbox in Opera House Square! Drop your letters off by December 15th for a response from Mrs. Claus and Santa’s elves!
