Overview
The Downtown Oshkosh BID recognizes the importance of creating an inviting atmosphere for customers and shoppers in Downtown Oshkosh. Businesses located on the 100-500 blocks of N Main St are now able to put flower pots of up to 15″ outside of their storefronts with a signed encroachment agreement with the City of Oshkosh.

Rules & Requirements

  • Flower pots may only be 15″ or less
  • Business must be located on N Main Street between the 100 block and 500 block
  • Businesses are required to have a signed encroachment agreement filed with the City of Oshkosh
  • Businesses are required to maintain flowers or materials within pots

 

Available Grants

Blade Sign & Flower Pot Grant Program

This program was created in partnership with the Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau to make a visible change to our downtown when it comes to beautification and curb appeal. This grant program offers 75% reimbursement for up to $1000 toward flower pots and flowers and/or hanging a projecting sign from your property.

This program established through the Downtown BID is a 50/50 matching grant program that offers 50% reimbursement of up to $1000 toward a project that improves the exterior facade – from painting and new windows to signage and more.
