Join us for our June First Friday in Downtown Oshkosh! Enjoy all Downtown Oshkosh has to offer the first Friday of each month from 4-9pm. Every First Friday, we’ll list where you can find the coolest art galleries, shop late, see awesome live musicians, enjoy great cuisine and local beverages and partake in fun downtown experiences. 

June’s First Friday will feature live music from Erin Boehme and the Jazz Orgy from 6-8pm in Opera House Square!

ART

Copper Hall – 203 Otter Ave
Music & Art by Booras
Booras is originally from Oshkosh. After living all over, he has retired here after a career as a graphic artist and illustrator. Booras paints in watercolors, acrylics and oils; recently moving his easel outdoors for plein air works. He has drawn many commissioned portraits of pets and people. Booras is also active in local community theater, on stage in 7 shows since moving to Oshkosh. Watch for the world premiere of his new, original musical comedy play opening in Oshkosh this summer! Another creative avenue for Booras is music, appearing around town as a solo keyboardist, singer/songwriter.

The Artful Gift – 9 Waugoo Ave
Featuring local artist, Alejandro Becerra – Enjoy Becerra’s fragmental expressionism pieces on display at The Artful Gift until 8pm. Becerra also had some of his paintings recently put on watch faces which we will also be showcased during the event.

Featuring local artist, Corinne Conrad

Jambalaya Art Gallery – 413 N Main St
Check out artwork by June’s featured artist, Morgan DiPietro. Jambalaya also will have a group show featuring refurbished cigarette machines. Open 4-9pm!

STEEZ takes the stage at 8pm! Churning out their self described creepfunk, STEEZ is a fusion band, a funk band, a jam band, and a disco fanged multi-beast!

*Fun idea! Bring your picnic blanket and grab your dinner to go and enjoy it during Jazz in the Square from 6-8pm! Beer and wine are allowed in Opera House Square – but no glass please!

Each First Friday is a celebration of our local community and an opportunity for locals and tourists to show their support for our town, have fun, and enjoy the beauty of historic Downtown Oshkosh!
