Description
The Friends of the library will be rockin’ the block with an end-of-summer party to raise funds for summer reading programs. The block party will be from 4 to 7 p.m. in the library parking lot. The Britins, Wisconsin’s premiere Beatles cover band, will headline the event, performing a rooftop concert starting at 5:30 p.m. Admission to the event is free. There will be a Rockin’ Rummage Sale, bake sale, face painting, games, raffles and more, with proceeds supporting the library’s 2019 summer reading programs. Raffle prizes include a $100 Downtown Oshkosh gift card and a Wisconsin Herd jersey autographed by Brandon Jennings, who is now with the Milwaukee Bucks. Pick up a free event pass at the library and get one free entry for a special bonus raffle.
